More positional language activities

The children first watched Pudsey bear on the IWB, then they discussed with their friend where they thought Pudsey was on the screen – pointing and saying ‘there’ was not enough!! I wanted the children to describe where he was using positional language eg. next to the window or behind the tree.

The children did really well using lots of the correct vocabulary.


The children also completed an obstacle course describing where they were.



During independent learning the children used the trains to go OVER the bridge THROUGH the tunnel and UNDER the bridge. The children loved the activity so much that I have left it out for Monday. If  you have a moment on Monday morning see if your child can tell you where the train is.
